Role: Art Direction / Visual Identity Development / Motion Graphics Direction
Scope: Key Visual Design, Motion Poster, Webinar Digital Campaign Assets

Project Overview
Developed the key visual and motion-led digital campaign for an international webinar exploring technology, practice, education, and research in contemporary performing arts. The objective was to move beyond faculty-based representation and articulate a unified, macro-level vision of 21st-century arts education.

Conceptual Framework
Unified Architectural Identity
Centered the composition around HKAPA’s signature triangular logo architecture, constructing a bold geometric silhouette that reinforces institutional heritage while supporting forward-looking messaging.

Technological Metaphor & Motion Strategy
Represented emerging technologies through a vibrant, fluid multicolored light spectrum enveloping the dark geometric framework.
The animated gradient:

  • Pulses and shifts dynamically

  • Symbolizes transformation through innovation

  • Illustrates how technology illuminates and reshapes artistic disciplines

Motion-First Execution
Designed primarily as an animated digital poster to maximize engagement across:

  • Social media platforms

  • Webinar landing pages

  • Digital signage

Strategic Significance
This project demonstrates:

  • Unified institutional positioning beyond departmental silos

  • Motion-first identity development

  • Technology-driven visual storytelling

  • Cross-platform digital campaign deployment
