Design Concept & Artistic Craftsmanship

Designed as a personal wedding invitation, this project reimagines traditional Chinese wedding symbolism through contemporary aesthetics, sophisticated typography, and high-end tactile print production.

• Reinterpreted "Dragon & Phoenix" Illustration: Redrew the mythical Dragon and Phoenix with a playfulness—capturing the phoenix affectionately nibbling the dragon to symbolize intimacy, while the intricate phoenix feathers subtly interweave to form a hidden heart shape at the base.

• Custom Typography & Monogram: Crafted a bespoke modern Chinese "Double Happiness" (囍) logotype anchored at the top, paired with an interlocking floral monogram derived from the couple’s initials (Y & A) stamped on a traditional rice-paper belly band. The English typography adopts a classic vertical orientation, echoing traditional Chinese text layouts.

• Color Contrast & Packaging Harmony: Boldly selected a crisp, tactile pure-white cardstock for the main invitation to create a sophisticated visual balance against the traditional auspicious red envelope and textured paper sleeve.

• 3D Embossed Gold Foiling: Executed ultra-precise 3D tactile gold foil stamping, bringing expressive dimensional depth, intricate scale textures, and metallic elegance to the illustration and typographic details.
